some think “not my problem”, “doesn’t concern me”, “this is the problem of black people” but why? we all live on the same planet, in a society of completely different people (different skin colors,races, nationalities,gender identity) but one thing that unites us is that we are all people. if we all can communicate in spite of all these differences,why can’t we be together right now. if we chose these people, because we like them, probably this is also our problem.
if you’re not sure how to respond, LISTEN. if you’re not sure what to read, RESEARCH. if you’re not sure what to do, DONATE. “not my problem” caused by the fact that we’re “not sure” and comes from not knowledge. it’s not enough to be “not sure” when RACISM IS STILL TAKING LIVES
covid19 is exposing that everything we think is real like money and politicians and celebrities is totally made up and the things that actually are real like human compassion and social consciousness and love are genuinely necessary for survival
